Students at Our Lady’s & St Joseph Primary school in Dalston have raised £1,700 for the Thai Childrens trust. The students have managed to raise this money through a sponsored skip in the school playground and a cake sale. Some students have also taken to fundraising with families/ individually.
The students have been motivated to raise this generous amount of money for The Mushroom shed appeal, for The Thai Children’s Trust.
Hsa Thoo lei school in Mae Sot Thailand educates over 700 Burmese refugees and supports a further 47 schools in the area.
The Burmese migrant children in these schools are very hungry at school
The Thai children’s Trust with help from schools fundarising have been able to send Hsa Thoo Lei School money to build mushroom houses.
Your school could support these Burmese refugees by fundarising to build a mushroom shed
In return you will receive a certificate of thanks, colourful photo cards and an update on the completion of the mushroom shed you have supported.
